Delete your CoachFit account

You can delete your CoachFit account yourself, from the app or from this website. This page explains how, and what is deleted.

In the app

1. Open CoachFit and go to More, then tap your name to open Your profile.
2. Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

On the website, without the app

1. Sign in at web.coachfit.in with the number or email you use for CoachFit.
2. Open Your profile and choose Delete my account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@coachfit.in from the email on your account, or with the phone number you signed in with, and ask us to delete it. We check that the request is yours and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

For members, trainers and gym staff, the account is deleted at once:

• your login, and every device you were signed in on;
• your name, phone number, email and photo;
• your date of birth, gender, height, weight and emergency contact;
• your workout and diet plans, and your fingerprint templates;
• your notifications and your requests to join or renew at a gym.

What is kept, and for how long

Payments you made to a gym are tax records, which Indian law requires to be kept for eight years. They are kept with the amount, date and method, but without your name or number. Nothing kept this way can be used to contact you.

Gym owners

An owner’s account runs the gym, and the gym holds its members’ records. So when an owner chooses Ask to delete my account, CoachFit support closes the gym and deletes the account, the gym and its members’ details, and confirms with the owner within 30 days. Payment and tax records are kept as above.
